The Nappy Den Introduces “The World of Peter Rabbit”

The Nappy Den is delighted to be launching The World of Peter Rabbit cloth nappies in the UK with this fabulous new range of reusable nappies and accessories, created under licence from Penguin Ventures on behalf of Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd (Beatrix Potter’s original publisher and owner of The World of Peter Rabbit)

The Nappy Den was established in the UK during the lockdown by the owner and mother of two, Lorna Price. Lorna brings her own unique, personally engineered nappies together with the iconic classic children’s character Peter Rabbit.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit was first published in 1902 and the adventures of Peter Rabbit and his friends continue to delight generations of children around the world, with two million of the original Tales selling globally every year.  Beatrix Potter was a keen conservationist during her lifetime, working to preserve the beauty of the Lake District, which inspired her many stories.

The Nappy Den aims to help eco-conscious parents navigate the world of reusable nappies, by reducing waste, saving money, and providing products that are kinder to babies’ skin.

Lorna says: “I am so thrilled to be able to bring this collection to life for future generations, I, like many, have grown up with Peter Rabbit, and I am beyond excited to be able to showcase Beatrix Potter’s iconic characters on my reusable nappies.”

The Tale of Peter Rabbit is one of the world’s best-loved children’s books and was created by author and illustrator, Beatrix Potter in 1902.  Since Frederick Warne & Co. (now an imprint of Penguin Random House) first published the story, it has sold over 46 million copies worldwide and has never been out of print.

Today, over 2 million of her ‘little books’ are sold globally every year, while Peter Rabbit has appeared on books and merchandise in more than 110 countries throughout the world.
