American expat and professional photographer Jaime Morton-Hawley is gaining momentum as a digital content creator in Dubai. With over 15 years of professional photography experience, Jaime has been published in over 44 pictorials in 12 countries, including Esquire Bulgaria, Maxim Italia, Playboy Philippines and FHM India. ‘I love working with editors to create dynamic images that really resonate with their readers,’ she says.
Jaime went to University for Film-making Studies and Digital Media, creating hands-on super 8mm films and working with 35mm photo darkroom development. She transitioned into digital formats, creating short films she submitted to film festivals and honing her photography skills with her Nikon equipment. Transforming her digital media and communication skills into a thriving digital content creator career on social media, Jaime has grown her influence and developed her TripAdvisor account to over 25 badges and 10,000 readers, a Level 8 Super Foodie standing on Zomato and has over 1 million views as a Google Local Guide. She is a regular invitee to established UAE restaurant openings, tastings and hotel events and features her photography and reviews on her lifestyle blog.
Among the growing number of collaborations, Jaime has worked with a multitude of companies and brands including Nokia, Empire Movies, Nars Cosmetics, Fujifilm, Dell Computers and UAE Tourism Boards. For the past year, she has been a contributing beauty writer for WKND magazine and an official Ambassador for the Middle East Film and Comic Con. ‘Social media creates such an incredible platform for creatives.
