Spooky season has arrived, and Brits are scrambling to find outfit inspiration to ensure a spooktacular entrance for this year’s Halloween celebrations.

New research from sustainable accessories brand, Wave, has revealed the fancy dress costumes we can expect to see dominate on 31st October 2022.

Although Disney’s live-action adaptation hit our screens in May last year, it seems Emma Stone’s performance has left a lasting impact.

Searches for ‘Cruella de Vil makeup’ have spiked 700%, along with ‘Cruella de Vil outfit’ soaring 400%, suggesting Brits will be rocking the two-toned wig and Dalmatian print this Halloween!

The launch of House of Dragons, which hit our screens in August, has seemingly got fans rekindling their love for the Targaryen family.

Searches for ‘Daenerys Targaryen costume’ have seen a 350% increase, and we can’t think of a more iconic character to dress up for Halloween than the Mother of Dragons herself.

The new Wednesday series is set to hit Netflix on 23rd November, and it’s no surprise that searches for ‘black dress and white collar’ have surged 200% in the past month.

We’re sure to see her other relatives appear on All Hallows Eve, too, with searches for ‘Addams Family costumes’ spiking 140%.

After waiting nearly 20 years for The Sanderson Sisters to return, Brits are making the most of the nostalgia, with searches for ‘Sanderson Sisters costume’ doubling in the past 12 months.
