Daisy Doris May, Winner of Europe’s Biggest Drag King Competition, ‘Man Up 2022’

HÄUS OF DONSthe queer multi-disciplinary Drag King collective set up by award-winning actress and Drag King Daisy Doris May, is taking over the legendary Soho venue The Box for an electrifying run, on 27th November and 17th December.

Drag kings are mostly female performance artists who dress in masculine drag and personify male gender stereotypes as part of an individual or group routine.

Guided by Häns Off, Steve Porters (lock up ur daughters) and friends, you’re in for the weirdest night of your life. A hybrid of cabaret and theatre, the HÄUS OF DONS show is an immersive, electrifying, joyous, and riotous journey.

The DONS collective comprises drag kings, comedians, actors, hosts, dancers, cabaret artists, and circus and pole performers. These talented kings are taking you out, from Berlin nightclub Berghain to a Woking freshers’ party, and it’s Napoleon Dynamite meets Magic Mike.

“My heart was full of excitement and lust; the room was saturated with electric energy, and people could not contain their screams of glee. Dancing with Hans, flirting with Steve, HÄUS OF DONS was a night unlike any other,” Amy Isles Freeman, Radio Reverb
